Solveig Noll (she/her) has been painting since early childhood. As the daughter of a NOAA corps officer, her family frequently moved across the country, alternating between the west and east coasts of the United States. This upbringing encouraged her to find spirit and connection in the many places she called home. Her adaptations and shifting surroundings heavily influenced her art, and inspired her to paint the feelings and memories of place using vibrant compositions of color and texture. Her work often explores themes of travel, spirit, and the sublime that embody her personal journeys. The viewer is invited to connect with the movement of each painting, and reflect upon their own voyages on a deeper level. Solveig currently lives in Vancouver, Washington, where she works as a paralegal and brand ambassador to La Biblioteca Wines. She is passionate about community, travel, and organizing art events.
