Reflections

Over the past year I have chosen to pursue a creative life, and this has been one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. There have been many sleepless nights, days when I'm paralyzed by fear of failure, hours thinking about painting and being unable to paint, insecurities, anxiety, hatefulness, doubt.

On the flip side, there has been truth, strength, encouragement, pride, love, sincerity, passion, fulfillment.  

This journey began from my desire for fulfillment, and for the first time in my life, I have it in sight. This is truly a magnificent feeling.

DO. NOT. COMPARE.  YOURSELF. TO. OTHERS. 

We still need the journalists, scientists, musicians, actors, mathematicians, engineers, film critics, models, designers, volunteers, activists, Ph.D. Candidates; it's ok if you're not, or all of these!

What we really need, is for people to be themselves, and pursue what they find fulfilling. Please do this, you won't regret it.
